When it comes to typical European backpackers, the sheer amount of hostels is enough to entice them to visit Krakow — but the city goes one step beyond. I am planning a trip to croatia in july for 7 -9 days- we have 2 teenage daughters 16 &18. We were thinking about flying into Pula and making it our base. Travel agents have not been too enthusiastic - recommending dubrovnik area instead - saying Pula is not as popular. Residence Permit for visiting researchers.
